Message missing the bolt that screws into the bottom of the fitting. Never was installed at the factory. Glad I check it now while engine is on stand than in car. Again thanks for the warning.

:In order to change it we had to pull the AC compressor and bracket loose, which no one was happy about.
:
:Once we got off the leaking line we saw that the bracket that junction block attaches too was not sealed around the edges like the original one. The oil was comming out from behind where the junction block attaches to the mounting bracket.
:Observe the unsealed gap on the new line (piece made of the darker colored metal) compared to the sealed gap on the original line (lighter colored metal)

:I called Nissan and they replaced the line. Of course they aren't going to actually help pay for any of it.
:We have so many turbo jobs and performance builds going that there were already two other motors in cars being completed. This week as they were cranked up both had the same problem. So I start really complaining to Nissan (who at the higher level of people that could do anything about it, could care less) and decide to take a closer look for myself. There are 3 spot welds on the bracket to attach it to the junction block. Initially I thought those spot welds must have been the problem, then I realized there is an oil channel in the block perpendicular to the bracket and it has to get drilled in somehow. So I drilled out the welds, beat it with a hammer and ended it with a sawsall and got the bracket detached from the back side of the block to confirm there was a hole in the back side of the block.

:They simply aren't properly sealing the bracket against the block. I checked all the oil lines we have new in stock. All 10 had the same problem. They are all probably going to leak! Considering we have had three this week I think its a issue that other people will see also. Maybe its just one bad run that we got our hands on?
:Maybe not, maybe the first of many to come? If you have any of these look at them and make sure that they look sealed if not, don't waste your time or money putting them on your car. And if you know someone that can do something about it call and complain. Problems with the quality of new Nissan OEM parts seems to be a growing trend. E-mail me if your having the same problem.
